I volunteered at the Houston Food Bank this year for a project that I had to do in my Health class. At first I did not want to go because I thought it would be boring, but it actually ended up being a lot of fun. I got to interact with other people from the city. It was a good feeling knowing I had done my part to helpe feed the community.

At my job we helped raise money for childern who need money for food. All of the staff would try to sell coupons to our customers. The money the customers would spend on the coupon would go towards the foundation. Out of all the Denny's in the Houston area we won third place and got a bronze metals.
